Mar 1, 2011 - It is with disappointment and sadness that we announce that effective today, we will no longer publish The Gray and New Gloucester Gazette. In spite of our best efforts during nearly three years, we have not been able to develop a profitable business model. Our weekly expenses to provide writing, editing, data entry, and web related expenses – all part of news delivery – far exceed the revenue that we've been able to generate.

We've enjoyed our tenure bringing you the news

and information of Gray and New Gloucester, but financial and professional constraints prevent us from being able to continue to volunteer our time and expertise to continue publication.

Our heartfelt gratitude to those of you who have volunteered to report and write for the Gazette, those who have supported us through your patronage, and those of you who have chosen to advertise with us. Your confidence in our effort is much appreciated.
